We are always interested to hear from volunteers with legal, financial, horticultural, IT or bid-writing experience to help the farm run smoothly.

“Ask not what my community farm can do for me, but what I can do for my community farm” Ian Willsdon, Former long term volunteer & current Trustee.

We have a range of horticultural, retail, hospitality, repairs and maintenance volunteering opportunities. We offer two weekly volunteering sessions to the local community; on Tuesdays we run a mix of varied tasks and on Thursdays its all-hands-on-deck for our busy harvesting and packing day. Both these sessions start at 10am, we break at 11am for tea and biscuits, we stop again at 1pm for a shared, cooked vegetarian lunch, and our volunteers finish by 4pm. We have a selection of welly boots, gloves and waterproofs you can borrow if needed. Under 16s must be accompanied at all times by a parent, guardian, teacher or youth worker.

Our volunteer-led tree-planting group gather outside the farm shop every Sunday at 2pm, excluding peak Summer months.

We are always interested to hear from volunteers with legal, financial, horticultural, IT or bid-writing experience to help the farm run smoothly.

As well as our local community volunteers, we also accommodate several WWOOF volunteers from the UK and all over the World. WWOOFers live in our Farmhouse for a minimum of 3 weeks at a time. Click here for details of how to join WWOOF.

We assess requests regarding adults with high support needs on a case by case basis. Priority is given to people in the Pendeen, St Just and Sennen areas. Please contact us to discuss referrals, placements, support needs and fees.
