Sustainable travel

We encourage everyone to ‘boot, bus or bike’ wherever possible. There is a good bus service from Penzance to the bus station in the centre of St. Just (adjacent to the large free car park) and then its just a 12 minute walk across fairly flat field footpath to the farm. In the Summer months there is also a good bus service along the coast road from both the Land’s End direction and St Ives.

Bus Travel

There are two local bus companies serving the Land’s End area:
17E – Pendeen to St Ives, via St Just and Penzance | Transport for Cornwall

Number 17 or 18 Cornwall | First Bus

We may be able to assist with travel costs, subject to funding. Please enquire with staff.

Footpath

The footpath from St Just starts on Carallack Terrace, heads in a straight line over two fields and low stiles and emerges into a converted farmyard / hamlet directly opposite Bosavern Community Farm. Download a pdf of the route here.

Cycling

Bosavern Community Farm is a registered Cycle Hub, equipped with a puncture repair kit, drinking water and first aid kits. We often hold bicycle MOTs and repair tips at our two annual open days, check our Events for details. In March 2025 we are pleased to offer free E bike hire to our volunteers to help with travel to and from the farm, in partnership with St Just Town Council and Land’s End cycle hire. Details here.
