1-day welcoming workshop, 10am-4pm, at Bosavern Community Farm. Open to all people with various abilities and levels of experience. Facilitated by an experienced WEA tutor. Practical skills of making vegetable beds, sowing seeds, planting, harvesting, and tree care. Outdoor course but will be under shelter if the weather is too bad. What to bring: packed lunch, water bottle, appropriate clothes (waterproofs if needed), sturdy footwear.

Facilitated by an experienced WEA tutor. Opportunity to develop a first-hand understanding of the principles and ethics of permaculture, and the ‘people care’ aspect of permaculture design, looking at collaborative techniques used to set up family or community projects. Practical skills: soil restoration, caring for crops, natural fertilizers, mulching, ways to increase local biodiversity.
