Nick Hall, Team lead of our Wildflower Group here at Bosavern Community Farm, is hosting 2 seed collection events this August. Opportunity to learn about wildflowers as well as collect and sow seeds for your own patch at home!

10-11 – Walk, Talk and Seed collection around the farm yard and polytunnels

11-11:30 – Teabreak, a chance to ask questions, chat and on the Wednesday event, meet                                 some of our staff and volunteers.

11:30-12:30 – Seed sowing

Children over 8yrs welcome. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

*Please note that this event may be cancelled due to bad weather, in which case we will inform those booked onto the event and try to rearrange.*

Please wear

  • A coat if light rain/mist (the event will be rescheduled if heavy rain)
  • Sunhat and suncream if sunny
  • Long sleeves/trousers to protect from the sun and insect bites
  • Sturdy footwear (boots or wellies)

Please bring (if you can):

  • Paper A5, or smaller, envelopes (3-5 per person)
  • Cardboard egg boxes for seed sowing
  • Gloves
  • Small pair of scissors
