Charity

Bosavern Community Farm Charity (BCFC) is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) officially registered with the Charity Commission in Spring of 2019.

We can be found on the Charity Commissions Register of Charities Number 1182238.

The Charity’s main objectives are:

  1. To advance the education of the public in subjects relating to farmingconservation and country crafts, by providing courses, workshops and talks;
  2. To provide or assist in the provision of facilities, in the interest of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship, social circumstances or for the public with the object of improving their conditions of life.

We invite you to support and participate in these projects as well as suggesting other that could be developed in the future.

We would also encourage members of the wider community to be involved in a Steering Group that would potentially meet twice annually to offer feedback and ideas for consideration by the Trustees. We look forward to hearing from you.

The Trustees are Sonja Fairfield, Chris Nelson, Frances Rippon and John Aldred. An information display will be set up at future Farm events where you can talk directly with the Trustees and learn about the aims of the charity and plans; Future Newsletters will also have updates regarding charity events.
