FREE, fully-funded workshops with ceramic artist Angela Trzaska to learn clay techniques (slips, stamps, sgraffito, pinch-pot sculptures) and to help decorate communal spaces at Bosavern Community Farm i partnership with ArtsWell.

These workshops are suitable for anyone aged 8ys to 88yrs! Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Content

Aim: Create pieces that will be used to beautify the spaces at Bosavern Community Farm

The main content of these workshops is to create a series of tiles to decorate community spaces at Bosavern, using plants, leaves and inspiration from the farm landscape. The tile making will be carried across all sessions with the artist finishing them off with glaze and firing.

Please bring:

  • Apron
  • Water bottle
  • If it is hot, please bring a sunhat, light layers, and suncream
  • If it is raining, please bring a waterproof coat.
  • Please wear sturdy shoes.

Dogs must be kept on a lead and owners may be asked to remove their dogs if they are causing anxiety or disturbance for other site users.

These clay workshops at Bosavern Community Farm are supported by the Community Levelling Up Programme through an Artswell partnership project working with nine Community Hubs across Cornwall.
