Get your team out of the office and into the fresh air for a different kind of team-building day, and help your Community Farm at the same time! We can organise a hands-on, practical and active team-building day for your organisation. And we can provide refreshments and lunch, much of it made from our own farm produce. Below is an example itinerary:
09:30 Arrive, welcome tea/coffee/biscuits, intro talk, split into 4 groups.
10:00 Task 1
11:00 Task 2
12:00 Lunch in the Hive
13:00 Task 3
14:00 Task 4
15:00 Afternoon tea, with fun quiz, in the Hive.
16:00 Depart.

Tasks are varied according to the season and what needs doing on the farm, but in the past have included:
- Building a fruit cage
- Painting chicken sheds
- Preparing ground for planting
- Harvesting potatoes
- Making compost
- Weeding
- Sowing seeds
- Tree planting
Tasks are on a rotation and each task is led by one of our knowledgeable growers or volunteers. It’s hard work but previous attendees have enjoyed being out in the fresh air and getting to know their colleagues in a completely different environment, as well as making a great contribution to our farm. And we can reward you with a delicious lunch!
