THE GROWING AND EMPOWERMENT PROJECT
We have been successful in getting European Social Fund (ESF) and European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) grants via the West Cornwall Local Action Group to run our Growing & Empowerment project (GEP) aimed at helping economically inactive people back into education, training, or employment. We will run training sessions, support in education, and job searching, as well as a variety of work experience opportunities. The project will be based at the Farm and will run into 2022.

PROJECT FINANCE OFFICER
The post holder will be responsible for gathering and collating the evidence needed for the quarterly grant claims. This will comprise details about participants, their attendance and achievements on the project, evidence of outcomes (e.g. participant becoming employed or further education). Working with the BCE Finance Officer, it will also involve recording of all financial transactions related to the project and of the evidence required for our funders. Fixed term contract to 30th June 2022.
Salary: £6,148pa for 11.25 hours per week (£20,493 FTE)

TRAINING & PROJECT COORDINATOR
With the support of other GEP staff, the successful candidate will identify and recruit suitable participants for the project, through networking with other organisations and publicity. She/he will co-ordinate the everyday activities, organise specialist speakers and develop and deliver simple training workshops and activities that meet the needs of the participants. Fixed term contract to 30th June 2022.
Salary: £18,464pa for 30 hours per week (£23,080 FTE)

PROJECT SUPPORT WORKER
This post holder will assist the Training & Project Co-ordinator with the everyday activities of the project as well as supporting the promotion of the project and recruitment of participants. You will also assist with running the training sessions as well as leading small groups with practical sessions and work experience activities at the farm. Fixed term contract to 30th April 2022. (Funded from 1st November).
Salary: £11,360pa for 22.5 hours per week (£18,933 FTE)
