The Bosavern Community Bee Garden and Bee Ed-Shed was built using a grant from Grow Wild UK – through Kew Gardens.

The project aimed to enable young people to connect with nature through the sowing of native wildflowers.

Something’s buzzing at Bosavern

As bees are one of the planet’s top priorities right now we are creating a beautiful and buzzing bee garden- with beekeeping training apiary and a bee education shed which will house 2 observation hives where we can home happy bees and educate people about the links between flowers, pollinators, food and people.

Get involved!

In 2015 an ambitious community project created imaginative individual areas within the bee garden- among them a living wall mural and a huge herb hexagon which is buzzing with pollinators during the Summer. A wildlife gardening group meets every Monday morning to maintain the garden and create wildlife friendly habitats. Turn up and 10am and join in!
