Through our new EU & Cornwall Council funded project we are offering supported placements to come and learn a range of practical food-related skills here on the farm; from plant-to-plate! We will help you to develop the ‘work-ready’ qualities employers are looking for and we can assist with applications for work or college. No fees, no previous experience necessary, full training will be given by our super-friendly Tutors. Support with childcare and travel may be possible. Call us for details!
Who Can Take Part & When?
This project suits people who seek to work in retail, catering, farming, horticulture, gardening or conservation and may also help those interested in grounds maintenance. Applicants must be over 18 years old, unemployed or economically inactive and living in our priority Penwith areas. The training takes place on Tuesdays & Thursdays for 11 weeks with follow-on support for 3-6 months afterwards. We are accepting applications now for our next course starting on 16th Sept 2021. Contact us to arrange a visit or a taster session during the Summer before deciding whether to commit.
