CSA Winner 2015

Joint winners of the Cornwall Sustainability Awards 2015 in the category “Best Contribution to a Sustainable Food Economy – From Nature to Plate”.

During the hungry gap (May/June) we need to buy in some local produce to fill our boxes, but we will always tell you where it is from and will only work with other producers who grow to the same standards as we do. Meanwhile our summer crops are going into the ground and getting going and our new potatoes and broad beans will be coming soon.

This week’s small veg boxes contained potatoes, chard, lettuce, radishes, peas (Heather Lane Nurseries), courgettes (grown organically in Crowlas).

Standard boxes also contained herb fennel, strawberries, and spring greens (Heather Lane Nurseries, Canonstown).
